TAMMY TADD
Daughter, wife, mother, and quilter, Tammy Tadd entered the quilting world in the usual way. Like many of us, her grandmother and mother were sew-ers and quilters. Along the way, Tammy has garnered a few other titles: designer, author and quilt shop owner.
In 1999 with the help and encouragement of her mother, Velda Grubbs, Tammy established Tammy Tadd Designs, a quilt pattern design company out of her home. As her business grew, the need for more space was necessary and Tammy moved to an upper loft in her husband's business. A short time later, an On-Line Store was established and in 2007, Tammy Tadd Designs opened a Retail Store in Sycamore, Illinois.
Over the past decade, Tammy has been recognized in the quilting community as a designer of bright, happy, and easy to follow patterns. Her store carries a wonderful assortment of quilting treasures and is a visual delight.
That's how it all began. We look forward to what Tammy will do next, but you can be certain, it will be done with a decidedly green and pink flair!
